February’s 1st Saturday Serve turned into first and second Saturdays, as rain delayed some of our projects. But thanks to committed teams who were not deterred, we moved mountains! Many volunteers joined to assemble Valentine’s gift bags for single moms and widows, and we had the wonderful opportunity to partner with Rebuilding Together of Acadiana on two ramp projects for families in need. One recipient had not been able to leave his home – or even go outside – for FIVE months because of unsafe exit conditions at his home. This day was life-changing for him, as well as many volunteers who got to be part of it.
