First Aid Training/Basic Life Support

For October’s 1st Saturday Serve, we’re serving YOU—our current & future volunteers!
Thanks to the generosity of Dr. David Allie & Louisiana Cardiovascular and Limb Salvage Center, and State Representative Annie Spell, we’re offering a unique opportunity: discounted First Aid & Basic Life Support (BLS) training designed specifically with our volunteers in mind.

What would you do if you—or someone you love—faced an injury or medical emergency while serving? Volunteers often step into stressful or even dangerous situations to help others. That’s why we want to equip you with the skills to respond with confidence—not just at serve events, but in everyday life too.

On Saturday, October 4, certified trainer Renée Rush will lead a 2-hour First Aid & BLS training at the special price of $25 (normally $50), with the option to add a certification card for $25 at the session. Whether you’re using a chainsaw on disaster response or serving behind the scenes in the office – or plan to someday, this training is for you.
