On November 1, our monthly 1st Saturday Serve focused on preparations for Giving Hope, our largest Christmas outreach, in partnership with Our Savior’s Church. Volunteers gathered to assemble hundreds of child sponsor packets that will allow generous families in the Church to bless children in need with a memorable Christmas. So much goes into preparing for Giving Hope. This activity is one of many leading up to the actual Giving Hope event when nominated parents will be invited to OSC-Midtown or OSC-Broussard to shop for their children, choosing from thousands of gifts donated by hundreds of generous families in the Church.
