The weekend of November 18th, we had our 3rd annual God–is–Good Gobble Box Thanksgiving outreach. This year was our largest yet, impacting nearly 4,000 lives and distributing 640 boxes filled with everything you need for a Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, Fezzo’s bread pudding, and a devotional book. With 44 drivers and 90 total volunteers, we distributed 640 Thanksgiving meals. We partnered with 13 churches and organizations across Acadiana, including Lafayette North and Southsides, Youngsville, New Iberia, Broussard/St. Martinville, Opelousas, Crowley, Lake Charles, Cutoff, Jennings, and Eunice areas. Thank you to everyone who helped, whether donating, labeling, packing, or distributing boxes; we could not have done it without you.
