Love Acadiana joined hands with Parish Proud to beautify an area in central Lafayette on April 12. More than 70 of our volunteers came together to paint the picket fence surrounding the Greenhouse Senior Center – about the perimeter of a city block! The bright new facade creates a cleaner and more welcoming environment, and fulfills a wish of residents and neighbors alike. The project also fostered meaningful community engagement and relationship-building among individual participants and as well as partnering organizations. Many thanks to all who showed up, worked hard, and loved on their neighbors (including those painting next to them) in Jesus’ Name.
