What a day! The weather was perfect for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Fall Fest, and our volunteers had a blast as usual blessing the foster families who attended.
Foster, adopted and bio kids enjoyed games, treats, food, and playing in the sunshine. A highlight was having Dr. Leslie Jacobs at our table, signing and giving away her children’s books and Bibles. The kids loved them as much as the toys and candy.
If you feel God may be calling you to foster, reach out. Many more children need a safe and loving home and we believe the Church is the answer!
