Serve Day 2026 is in the books – and it was awesome!
On July 11, the global church Serve Day, Love Acadiana partnered with all eight campuses of Our Savior’s Church, plus volunteers from Crossroads Church to complete 68 projects at 24 locations across Acadiana.
Volunteers painted, landscaped, served meals to people experiencing homelessness and to emergency personnel, pumped gas for strangers, and tackled projects that met practical needs throughout our community. Teams also refreshed eight local school campuses, helping prepare them to welcome students back for a new school year.
Thank you to every volunteer who gave up a Saturday to serve. Whether you led a project, worked behind the scenes, or picked up a paintbrush for the first time, you helped show the love of Christ through your actions.
As James reminds us, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:17.) Serve Day gave us the opportunity to put our faith into action together.
