Love Acadiana partnered with the homeless outreach group of OSC-Midtown to “adopt” a client transitioning from Homeless to Housewarmed after a year of counseling and case work through Catholic Charities. We organized a supply drive, purchased furniture, and created a special event on August 10 for volunteers to assemble furniture, clean her new place, and fill it with all the comforts of home. Importantly, we were able to pray with her, anoint the home and present her with a new Bible signed by all the volunteers. Thank you for your generosity and service in helping us to meet these needs.
