Love Acadiana partnered with Our Savior’s Church and marked one of its largest serve events to date on July 12. Second only to the 2019 Love Our Schools Serve Day that we organized, Serve Day 2025 mobilized 1,726 volunteers who contributed a combined 9,092 hours of service! Volunteers completed 111 projects across 24 locations, including six schools, two parks, and two nursing homes, plus a flood relief home project and more. In addition to local efforts, a team on mission in Kenya joined in the serve day, extending the impact globally. The event focused on meeting practical needs while demonstrating compassion through prayer, meals and hands-on support. The stories are still coming in about the impact felt by families, veterans, school principals, and even volunteers who served. We’re deeply grateful for everyone who showed up to. This day will remain in our hearts as we came together to care for our community as Jesus would.
