On Tues., May 10, we spent the day at Cade Community Center in St. Martinville celebrating the Westgate High School football team. Love Acadiana partnered with OSC–Broussard to ensure these young men were given the celebration they deserved after bringing home the state championship title. With the support of Principal Neely Moore, Coach Ryan Antoine mentored the young men on the team through incredible trials – both individually and as a team – to form this tenacious group of overcomers.
The community united to sponsor championship rings and celebrate their unprecedented win. The outpouring of love and personal witness at the event was evidence that God’s hand is at work in this team. Keep them and the school in your prayers.
